Acute care emergency services and follow-up:
We provide comprehensive, cost-effective and time-efficient treatment of your injured employees. We can treat work-related injuries that are not life or limb threatening.
Communication:
If desired, the employer will receive a phone call from the treating medical staff member when employees are seen for acute care services to discuss the diagnosis, treatment, and any work restrictions that may be given. Each phone call will be followed by written or faxed confirmation.
Case Management:
Dr. Meehan will actively manage the recovery of injured workers to facilitate their maximum recovery and minimize your expenses, through direct communication with referring specialists, surgeons and physical therapists.
Pre-placement, Periodic, and Return-to-Work Examinations:
Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, Meehan Medical provides objective information to determine fitness for duty or the degree of existing illness or injury.
D.O.T. Physicals and Drug Testing:
Our staff is experienced in DOT regulations and trained in collection procedures. All testing is performed by a certified laboratory, with Certified Medical Review Officer functions included as a standard part of the service.
Medical Surveillance Examinations:
Hazardous Waste/Emergency Response Respirator Clearance and Fit Testing are available.
Drug Testing Programs:
We provide consultation services for policy design and implementation and offer several testing procedures for drugs.
Physical Therapy referrals include:
Work conditioning to facilitate the timely and safe return of injured workers to full, unrestricted duty.
Health Promotion, Wellness and Health Risks Analysis programs:
To identify and counsel employees with risk factors or life styles having adverse consequences, such as high blood pressure, obesity, smoking, elevated cholesterol and lack of exercise.
